The 10th annual SET Plan conference conjoined with the 11th Central European Energy Conference (CEEC XI) is held under the auspices of the Estonian Presidency of the Council of the EU.

In 2017 the SET Plan marks its 10th year anniversary. The conference will review the progress achieved in last decade in the energy transition and the key role played by the SET Plan as the technological pillar of the EU energy policy. It will examine the implementation process of the Energy Union with a special focus on the role of its Research and Innovation (R&I) dimension. In particular, it will assess the role of innovative low-carbon technologies in boosting European competiveness, progress in developing new technologies and smart energy systems for efficient use of energy as well as growing share of renewables in the primary energy consumption of EU member states. In addition, it will also evaluate the current trends in electro-mobility, safe utilisation of nuclear energy, enhanced energy storage, and many other topical issues for the transformation of the EU energy system. Finally, the conference will pay special attention to evaluation of the role of Central European member states, including their contribution to the implementation of the goals of the Energy Union and the Integrated SET Plan.

Już po raz trzeci Forum Przemysłowe przyciągnie do Karpacza najważniejszych przedstawicieli polskiego   i europejskiego przemysłu. Podczas Forum odbędzie się kilkadziesiąt wydarzeń: debat, sesji plenarnych, prezentacji raportów i bloków tematycznych.

III Forum Przemysłowe będzie okazją do szerokiej debaty o kluczowych problemach przemysłu europejskiego, takich jak: reindustrializacja, gospodarka cyfrowa, rewolucja elektryczna w motoryzacji, polityka klimatyczna, bezpieczeństwo energetyczne, nowoczesne i tradycyjne gałęzie przemysłu, ale również wszystkiego, co dotyczy szeroko pojętego przemysłu czasu wolnego, a więc m.in. turystyki, kultury, rozrywki.

W jaki sposób wprowadzać w życie ambitne plany europejskiej polityki klimatycznej i energetycznej? W jaki sposób wzmocnić konkurencyjność europejskiego przemysłu? Jak wspierać rodzimy kapitał i rodzinne firmy? Jakimi rozwiązaniami wspierać wdrażanie innowacji w przemyśle? Jak najlepiej wykorzystać potencjał intelektualny Europy, w szczególności państw tzw. Nowej Europy? Odpowiedzi na te i wiele innych ważnych dla gospodarki pytań poszukiwać będzie ponad 700 gości Forum, a wśród nich przedstawiciele największych koncernów przemysłowych, parlamentarzyści, eksperci i ekonomiści z krajów Europy Środkowej i Wschodniej.
